Lake Champlain Maritime Museum—Join members of the Eastern
Woodlands confederacy, Elnu Abenaki and others for the museum's second
annual weekend celebration of the region's Native American heritage.
Visitors will gain a Native American perspective on the upcoming
anniversary of Samuel de Champlain's first visit to the lake that now
bears his name. Dressed in clothing faithful to 1609, tribal members
will demonstrate singing, dancing, and life skills, joining artisans
and tribal dignitaries to celebrate native culture and heritage.

every
year on the third Saturday of July. Is "the toughest 10 km run in New
England," following the scenic Blueberry Hill Inn cross-country ski
trails and gravel roads of the town, in the heart of the Green Mountain
National Forest and Moosalamoo National Recreation Area. Course is
well-marked; race maps available at the Inn for pre-race runs. Race
