Lake Champlain Maritime Museum—Experience some of the skills and trades of the Revolutionary War era as re-enactors dress in period clothing demonstrate "The Mechanics of Revolution". Help move heavy loads as they were moved in an age before hydraulics as re-enactors move cannon and bateau. Watch the Philadelphia II use anchors and lines to bring fresh guns to bear. Learn methods used to handle ropes on yardarms. See a traditional field kitchen being dug and used to prepare an officers field dinner.
