Chimney Point, VT and Crown Point, NY
Festival of Nations
A cultural event to celebrate the nations which, in the 18th century, wrestled for control of a colonial territorial prize: the Champlain Valley. Festival consists of live music, craft demonstrations, food, family fun and competitions. Two state historic sites co-host this public event: Chimney Point State Historic Site in Vermont and Crown Point State Historic Site in New York. Activities are featured at both ends of the Lake Champlain Bridge. British, French, Indian, Canadian and American food items for sale and plenty of seating at picnic tables. Admission. 518-597-4666.

Lake Champlain Maritime Museum—As part of Vermont Archaeology Month LCMM presents a weekend of lectures, tours of historic and archaeological sites, hands-on activities, and workshops.
