Fairhill, located on a quiet country road 4 miles (10 minutes) from Middlebury, is a tastefully restored 1825 Vermont farmhouse. It sits on a small ridge overlooking a valley to the east and the Adirondacks to the west. To the north, the road winds up into maple woods.
Quintessential
Vermont!
The house and setting are certainly quintessential Vermont!
Stone walls surround the country cape and upon entry you are
transported to the early 19th century. The wide pumpkin pine
floors, hand hewn beams, fireplaces and early American
antiques place you into a calmer quieter time.
Our guest
rooms
Fairhill has 3 guestrooms. One room is furnished with an
antique 4-poster double bed with its own private bath. The
other two rooms share a bath. One room has a double bed and
the other twin beds.
Enjoy your days and
nights!
At the beginning of your day, have coffee in the garden and
watch the nearby wildlife. On a cool morning see the mist
rise from the valley floor. On a summer evening listen to
the peepers and the coyotes. See the valley aglow with
firefires!
